Cummins Invests Cash in New Home

Cummins Allison, the market-leading cash handling equipment supplier has invested substantially to purchase a new midlands home. The Company has outgrown its former Warwickshire base and has moved into brand new premises near Coventry.

William H Klotz House has become the UK sales and service centre for Cummins-Allison Ltd, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Cummins-Allison Corporation, which is based in Chicago, USA. The building is named in honour of a past President of the Corporation, who was largely responsible for starting the UK business in the 1980's. Colonnade Point is located less than two miles from the M6, a new business park development that is proving to be exceptionally popular because of its accessibility for clients, staff and suppliers alike.

Since its inception, Cummins has built an established customer base supplying cash handling systems to most of the UK's leading banks, parking providers and vending machine operators. The company has also made substantial inroads into the leisure industry via amusement arcades, casinos and bingo clubs. This continued success coupled with new products soon to be launched is expected to push turnover above the £4,000,000 mark in 2006 prompting the move from the existing leased premises to the new larger building which offers 6000 sq ft on the ground floor plus a mezzanine with a further 2000 sq ft. when needed.
