JetScan™ Note Sorters/Scanners Help Everyone!
By eliminating the time and errors of manually processing cash, JetScan™
note sorters/scanners dramatically reduce the time it takes to prepare or close a cash
drawer. Your POS associates spend more time serving customers and less time in your cash room. Cash room efficiency and accuracy goes up, and bank deposits are ready faster. All this, plus operation and staff training is simplified!
Unlike note counters, JetScan note sorters/scanners read the denomination of each and every bill processed. It can total a bundle of unsorted
notes, sort mixed notes and find a £10 note misplaced in a bundle of
£20's.
 |
Count Mixed
Notes --
With JetScan note sorters/scanners, you do NOT have to sort currency to count it! Using the "mixed" mode, you can verify all the
notes from a cash drawer in one step and in only a few seconds. Several major retailers never sort their
notes, sending it to their banks unsorted instead. Their banks use
JetScan note sorters/scanners to verify and sort these deposits.
|
 |
Catch Strangers --
While counting one denomination, the JetScan note sorter/scanner
stops when any other
note is processed. A £10 note is never counted as a
£20 note. This speeds the verification of money received from banks or armored cars.
|
 |
Sort Mixed
Notes --
You can take all the notes from a cash drawer and count it unsorted when time is tight, then use the "sort" mode
on the note sorter/scanner to quickly recount or just unsort the layered
notes (£5's the £10's then £20's) that were bundled together.
|
 |
Face
Notes -- For faster and more accurate note processing, the two-pocket JetScan
note sorter/scanner can be set up to face sorted or unsorted
money. Often, facing can be combined with two or more processing
steps.
|
 |
Catch More Counterfeits -- Using patented denominating and authenticating systems, JetScan
note sorters/scanners can reduce losses to counterfeit
notes. A variety of anti-counterfeit sensor options are available that stop JetScan
note sorters/scanners on the exact "suspect" note for review by your
staff.
