Manufacturing the first perforators in 1887 to facilitate cancellation of cheques, bonds and other financial instruments, B.F. Cummins set the pattern for our continuing focus on automation solutions.
Our heritage is in creating products that revolutionise the way coin, notes and tickets are handled. Early roots in finance motivated us to develop an automated cheque signer, endorser, cheque imprinting machines and cheque processing via remote PCs.
Cummins joined with Allison Coupon in 1973, producing coupon payment books as well as a broad array of document-control-related office machines.
The expanded capabilities we have developed over the past 125 years have impacted a multitude of cash-intensive industries, including banks, CIT companies and gaming operators. In addition to making self-service coin counters an attractive, affordable investment for banks and retail businesses alike, we have recently developed award-winning technology that pairs state-of-the-art document-imaging capabilities with the fastest, most accurate processing platform available in a desktop footprint.
We continue to work closely with the customers and the industries we serve to refine existing and develop new technologies to fulfil their unique requirements.
